Cosmos is the paramount ruler of the universe, a position he has held since time immemorial. A powerful warrior skilled in manipulating light and dimensions, he prides himself on being just and all-knowing. However, his pride, much like that of his father, the great black hole Prime Galactus, becomes the cause of his downfall. Cosmos organized the Giganum Tournament to observe the planets, keep them under control, and, unofficially, for his own entertainment.
