A pitch-black space of nothingness, the Dark Beyond is a region of empty space on the far outskirts of the Universe. This place came into being after the great black hole, Prime Galactus, perished at the hands of his two sons, Cosmos and Kronus. The brothers buried Prime Galactus's body in an area outside of the universe. Being made from enigmatic material, his remains integrated with the darkness, creating a massive void that became known as the Dark Beyond.
